THE FINN FACTOR BY RACHEL BAILEY REVIEW!!!

Another amazing book from Entangled Teen! I read this a while ago, (and obviously didn’t make notes) so there wont be a discussion. Boo.

Title: The Finn Factor

Author: Rachel Bailey

Genre: New Adult, Romance

My rating: 89.99%, 3.79/5

Source: Publisher via Net Galley

Synopsis:

It’s been twelve months, three days, and eleven hours since accounting student Scarlett Logan made it past a second date. A pitcher of mojitos in hand, she employs her supreme graphing skills to narrow things down to one horrifying explanation. Kissing. Clearly someone needs to teach her how to kiss properly. Like, say, her best friend and roomie, Finn Mackenzie. He’s safe, he’s convenient, and yeah, maybe just a little gorgeous.

Finn knows exactly why Scarlett’s boyfriends are disappearing quickly. Him. Not a single guy she’s brought home is nearly good enough. And he’ll be damned if he lets some loser give her “kissing lessons.” No. He’ll do the honors, thank you very much. The moment their lips touch, though, everything turns upside down. But Scarlett deserves the one thing Finn can’t give her. And if he doesn’t put an end to the sexy little shenanigans, he’ll teach Scarlett the hardest lesson of all…heartbreak.

Wow! A new kind of romance, people! This book didn’t have the typical, “boy meets girl, girl meets boy” plot. Neither did it have the “rivals turned lovers” nor, “bad boy and good girl” plot. There was a really cute romance between two best friends.

Scarlet and her roommate Finn have been best friends for a few years now. And one kiss changes everything…Cheesy right? lol.

I didn’t enjoy this book like, a LOT. But I am glad I got to read about such a cutesy little romance.  Yes, there is a certain predictable pattern throughout the the book, one which you see in almost every New Adult romance novel. It was still quite enjoyable though. Mainly because of the unique loveline and the characters. They were just my favorite! Scarlet and Finn are both great narrators. And did I mention that this book is set in Australia? Bonus points!!

I would for sure recommend this book so make sure to check it out when it comes out! Then save it till you REALLY need a quick romantic read once in a while. We all need those…

Sooo, yeah. Thats my review! Kinda short but I am in a hurry cuz I have to write two more..maybe 3. Life of a book blogger…

Thank you Entangled Teen for sending me this and just being awesome! 🙂
