This book was a breeze from start to finish. It laid some very nice foundation and the story was built up further. You just fall into it, instantly connecting with the characters and before you know it, you have finished reading it.

This is a contemporary -sort of thriller- about a teen named Samantha who goes to this stuck-up, snob of a school. She is going through some tough stuff and her ex best friend bullies her everyday. Life is hell, so what do I do? Get sweet, sweet revenge. Ohh yeah. Also there is a secret illuminati-ish society. Forgot to mention that. Or else the title would make no sense! 😛

So the story was pretty enjoyable. A quick read and not too intense. It maintains a general tone throughout. I would say that it is great for a person who is trying to read more books just for pleasure. It was predictable though, and the ending was just….that. An ending. There could have been many directions to this book. It decided to take the direction that was sort of.. been there, done that. You know? Anyway, a pretty light read. (This is coming from a reader who thinks child abuse stories are light reads too, btw). No, but seriously, not too intense or too dramatic. You will have to be in the mood for this one, or you might lose interest.

I think the characters were the best. Such extreme personalities. You absolutely HATE the mean girl, LOVE the love interest, ROOT for the main girl… Yup.

I would definitely recommend this book to…. anyone. Its sooo readable. Lol.

Aaand those are all my thoughts for this book. A short review, but I hope you enjoyed! 🙂

Byeee 🙂 🙂
